I love hearing Kansas City Chiefs folks talk about "bringing the Lamar Hunt trophy home". That trophy of course is what's awarded every year to the AFC Champion.

I remember Tony Richardson saying last year he just wanted to touch the Lamar Hunt Trophy. Carl Peterson used to say it's time to bring the trophy home. Clark Hunt has said similar things.

I like the idea of bringing the trophy back home. Maybe the Chiefs will get a shot at that next year.
