2011 East-West Shrine Game Coming On Saturday

The NFL offseason continues with the 2011 East-West Shrine Game on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. (Arrowhead time) at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The game is among the most-respected and longest-running post-season bowl games for college football players.

Last year the Chiefs had a nice advantage because Romeo Crennel was coaching one of the teams but the Chiefs ultimately didn't draft any players who appeared in the game.

From what I can tell, WR Verran Tucker is the only Chief who played in the 2010 East-West Shrine Game. Marty Schottenheimer was also a coach last year. This year the two head coaches are Dan Reeves and Wade Phillips.

Representatives from all 32 NFL teams will be there to check out the future NFL players. Here's the roster for both teams which may or may not include a future Chief.

With the Chiefs going to the playoffs this year, I feel so behind on NFL draft tidbits like the East-West Shrine Game. Anyone got a list of players the Chiefs should be looking out for?
