Among the candidates for the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year are Ed and Steve Sabol who created NFL Films, which more than any other network has created a stunning visual history of the NFL. That's why I was so excited to hear that it was NFL Films who produced the latest documentary on Kansas City Chiefs founder Lamar Hunt.
The documentary, Games, Hunt's childhood nickname, will be screened this week in Kansas City.
On Thursday, January 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St. a documentary of the same name, Games, explores the sporting life of Hunt, and focuses on his legacy as an innovator and a man revered for his humility and gracious manner.
Let us know if anyone is interested in attending this. I think I'm going to go. Here's RSVP info.
