We're back with another edition of our rootability guide (idea stolen from Spencer Hall of SBNation.com). This is a guide on who you should root for in today's games. Yesterday, the teams I was rooting for went 0-2 (Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens).
Seattle Seahawks vs. Chicago Bears: I'm rooting for the Seahawks. This game's on at 12:00 p.m. (Arrowhead time) on FOX and I'm rooting for the Seahawks. How can you not root for the underdog? It's pretty incredible they've made it this far and I kind of want them to win and HOST the NFC Championship game. That would blow some people's minds. Plus, it's hard rooting for Jay Cutler even if he's with another team now. Ultimately, though, it's hard to see Seattle actually winning this game (though I said that last week, too).
The winner: Bears 24 Seahawks 17
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots: I'm rooting for the Patriots. They're the franchise that the Chiefs are kind of modeling themselves after and I want to see them do well. With all the trash talk from the Jets this week, I kind of want to see the Patriots blow them out. However, in the interest of an entertaining game, I'd rather see the Pats barely escape in this game. But I want New England to win. This game is on at 3:30 p.m. (Arrowhead time) and it'll be on CBS.
The winner: Patriots 35 Jets 21
That's who I'm rooting for. What about you?
