Chiefs Bye Week: Tyson Jackson Making Improvements

Tyson Jackson hasn't played a game since coming out in the Week 1 against the San Diego Chargers. He had a knee injury then so it's been about two-and-a-half weeks since he's played a game. Jackson went through position drills at practice, which is the most he's done to this point.

Also nicked up is Javier Arenas who tells the Star he's got just a sore ankle. Sounds like he's just resting up on a bye week.

Also missing from practice on Wednesday was Reshard Langford. He was on the injury report last week with an ankle. Ryan O'Callaghan rode the exercise bikes during practice.

So it starting to sound like Arenas will be OK and Jackson is making big strides. With the bye week, they've got a shot to be playing next Sunday against Indy.

The final Chief missing practice: Charlie Weis. He had surgery early Monday morning for an infected gall bladder. He's not expected to miss any games.
