Kansas City Chiefs Bye Week Gives Players The Weekend Off

The Kansas City Chiefs veterans told Todd Haley they didn't really like the bye week and he responded by making a select group of veterans coaches for the week.

But here's part of the bye week they do like: A weekend off.

Here's the Chiefs schedule for the rest of the week:

• Wednesday: Practice
• Thursday: Practice
• Friday/Saturday/Sunday: Off
• Monday: Practice (Indianapolis)

As Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com says, many of the Chiefs players use the bye week to catch their alma mater's footabll game, hang out with family or head back to their home town.
