So what's Todd Haley like after a win?
"He had a smile on his face and it's good when he smiles," Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey told us in the locker room following the Kansas City Chiefs 31-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Indeed Haley should be happy as the Chiefs move to 3-0 and remain in sole possession of first place in the AFC West.
The Chiefs locker room was cautiously happy after the game. The players we talked to all sent the same message: 'The win feels great but we want more.'
"It feels good," said Brandon Flowers, who pulled down an interception. "This is what we've been talking about since OTAs. We just have to keep it going. We can't settle for 3-0."
"Everybody made plays and stuck together...from the quarterback to the running backs to the receivers," Dexter McCluster, who scored a touchdown on Sunday, said after the game.
"It's a good win," Dorsey said, perhaps with the most simple and the best summary of the game.
Chiefs QB Matt Cassel said after the game that at one point it was "almost like a party" because the offense was rolling in the second half.
It's clear: The Chiefs love winning and they're doing whatever they can to replicate that. There were a lot of smiling faces in the Chiefs locker room.
