I believe we've mentioned in the past that Kansas City Chiefs S Eric Berry has twin brothers who aren't bad football players in their own right. Evan (5'11", 175-pounds) plays quarterback and safety while Elliott (6'0", 193-pounds) plays linebacker and running back.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently did a story on the Berry brothers explaining a rumor that they had already committed to the Univ. of Tennessee while also suggesting that they're going to be hot names on the recruiting trail in a couple of years.
Here's what an opposing coach, Ed Gosa of Banneker, said about the Berry brothers.
"In the state of Georgia, because of what their older brother has done, they are two freshmen that everybody really knows about. Right now, I’d say they are holding their own. Eric dominated as a freshman and could change a game. The twins are not there yet, but they are going to be. I’d say in about two years, they are going to be forces to be reckoned with."
Apparently Tennessee says they have a spot waiting in a couple of years.
It's hard to see them topping Eric success in all reality. You know they always say the younger brother will be better than the star older brother. Top five pick is tough to beat.
