Chiefs vs. 49ers: Tyson Jackson, Ryan O'Callaghan Still Limited

The Kansas City Chiefs once again had two key players miss practice. Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star reports both defensive end Tyson Jackson and right tackle Ryan O'Callaghan were in the conditioning area during practice on Wednesday morning.

Jackson has a knee injury that kept him out last Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. He injured the knee in the Chiefs season opener against the San Diego Chargers. Reports have said 1-2 weeks on his injury so it's possible he could return, although Babb writes via Twitter that Jackson is still walking with a "pretty serious limp."

O'Callaghan has basically been out since Aug. 24. I saw him walking very gingerly last week so we'll see how much he's improved with his groin injury. Barry Richardson has been taking his place on the offensive line.

No word yet on whether either will be able to start. It sounds like they'll be on the practice report today under did not practice or limited in practice if they were able to do some work after the media viewing portion of practice was over.

The Chiefs will issue updates on their status -- probable/questionable/doubtful/out -- on Friday.
