Big Plays Give Browns 14-10 Halftime Lead Over Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are behind against the Cleveland Browns 14-10 at halftime.

Here are a few highlights of the first half:

  • Chiefs forced a fumble that was reviewed. It was definitely a controversial call and the Chiefs benefited when the refs ruled it a fumble. Kansas City took a 3-0 lead.
  • Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt pinned the Browns inside their own five yard line. They responded going 98 yards to take a 7-3 lead. This drive was highlighted by a Mike Vrabel penalty on third down near the goal line that gave the Browns new life.
  • The Chiefs quickly responded with an interception return for a touchdown courtesy of Brandon Flowers.
  • Three plays later, Seneca Wallace hit Josh Cribbbs for a 65-yard touchdown giving the Browns a 14-10 lead.

Other story lines developing: Eric Berry blew a couple of plays that led to a big Browns gain and a touchdown, Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones both have six carries and Matt Cassel has two interceptions.
