The Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers game isn't the only sporting event going on in Kansas City at the Truman Sports Complex this afternoon and evening.
The Kansas City Royals are also playing the Chicago White Sox Oakland A's at 2:05 p.m. making it what I've dubbed "The Longest Day Ever". If you've never been to Arrowhead Stadium, then you may not know the logistical problem two games on the same day may present....
They share a parking lot.
In order to avoid some of the parking hassles, the Chiefs have sent out a few guidelines on arriving for the game. Check 'em out after the jump.
- Gates for parking open at 3:30 for the Chiefs. If you show up before 3:30, you'll have to buy a Royals AND Chiefs parking pass. But if you do want to get there early, you have the option of doing so. It'll just be a little more expensive.
- The Truman Sports Complex will be EXIT ONLY from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This will be tricky. We'll see how this works out.
- The stadium opens at 7:30 p.m. for everyone. They'll be open at 6:30 p.m. for club level and suites.
- The Chiefs are requesting you to be in your seat at 8:35 p.m. for some sort of surprise.
