Reminder: NFL Football Starts Tonight

In case you haven't heard, the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH. The game will start at 7 PM central time and will be played in Fawcett Stadium.

We will of course have an open thread posted for this game, as we do for every nationally televised game. The game will play on NBC. And here is complete coverage of the game from SB Nation: Cowboys vs. Bengals

Here are a few pieces of trivia and info about the game to whet your football starved appetite:

  • The game started in 1962 and has been played before every season except the 1966 season;
  • Both the Cowboys and Bengals will play five total preseason games, while the rest of the league only plays four;
  • The Chiefs are 2-1 in the Hall of Fame game, having last appeared in 2003;
  • The Washington Redskins are the winningest team in this match up, having won all five games they appeared in;
  • The Baltimore Ravens are the only active NFL team not to have played in a Hall of Fame game; and,
  • Two of the games have been cancelled due to severe lightning.
Make sure you come back by around 7 PM tonight to chat during the game.
