The Kansas City Chiefs will open the preseason one week from today against the Atlanta Falcons.

The game is in Atlanta at 7:00 p.m.

There are a few things to look out for in the first "real" action for the Chiefs:

  • Is the front seven creating pressure?
  • How will the safeties line up?
  • Who gets the start at inside linebacker? Center?
  • Does Tony Gonzalez still have it?

Our training camp discussions will gain a little juice after we've actually seen the team on the field against a real opponent.

The Chiefs starting offense and defense probably won't see more than a few series but that will be enough for us to chew on for a while.

So are you excited?
