Chiefs Training Camp: Wednesday Night Practice With Chances Of Rain

It had been a couple of days since I had a weather update -- and I know it's been killing you -- so I figured I'd come back with one today.

The Chiefs morning session is indoors and closed to everyone. However, they are conducting their first evening practice under the lights from 7:15-9:15 p.m.

I've been saying that this is the one you'd want to go to because the heat won't be quite as bad and it'd be cool to see the team under the lights.

As it turns out, there could be rain on the way this evening.

Update: Breaking it down hourly shows a more optimistic view of the rain tonight:

If it's not lightning, I imagine the Chiefs will do all they can to practice outdoors since they're likely expecting a good crowd for practice. The grounds crew has done a solid job of getting the field ready for practice even after rain.

The weather folks have been wrong before and, for everyone's sake, let's hope they are this time.

I'll be up at camp this evening so follow me on Twitter (@ArrowheadPride) for updates. The Chiefs will be updating their website with rainout info as well as @JoshLooney and @ChiefsPR.
