The Kansas City Chiefs held another night practice on Wednesday evening and three players did not participate.
G Darryl Harris: He's been out for a few weeks and the fact that he hasn't been placed on PUP may indicate that he'll be ready in the early goings of the season.
DB Maurice Leggett: The good news is that he was out on the field walking around with his teammates last night. However, he has yet to participate in practice since suffering a neck injury last Saturday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fact that he was out walking around on the field is a good sign.
RT Ryan O'Callaghan: There's no word on what's up with him. He left practice earlier this week with some sort of injury and hasn't returned. The Chiefs had Barry Richardson lining up behind him. They've also had Colin Brown playing some right tackle as well as former offensive lineman Bobby Greenwood.
Of those three, O'Callaghan's injury is the one that could cause some trouble. The Chiefs aren't very deep at offensive tackle. It appears Richardson is the swing tackle, which likely secures his spot on the roster.
Brown was taking right tackle snaps so I'm wondering what his role is if Richardson takes the number two spot. He hasn't seen any time at left tackle.
