A Few Former Chiefs Land On SI's Greatest Players By The Jersey

The Kansas City Chiefs were represented on Sports Illustrated's greatest players by the jersey list. Here are the Chiefs on the list:

Notice that they have Neil Smith as a Chief -- and not a Bronco. He was in Kansas City for nearly a decade compared to just three years in Denver but interesting nonetheless.

Also landing on the list was Tim Krumrie, former Bengals defensive tackle and former Chiefs defensive line coach.

As for No. 58, worn by Chiefs Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas, that went to Steelers great Jack Lambert. Tough call there.

Here's a good luck at a few interesting parts of the entire project from SI's Richard Deitsch.
