The Kansas City Chiefs continued practice on Tuesday morning as they prepare for Friday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The newsworthy item of Tuesday's practice is starting right tackle Ryan O'Callaghan exiting early due to some sort of leg injury. There's no word on whether it's serious or not. He left a practice early a couple weeks ago in training camp as well but was back quickly.
What I do find interesting is that it was Barry Richardson who replaced him. Richardson is apparently the top swing tackle. He's listed on the depth chart as the second team left tackle but has played both sides throughout training camp.
Colin Brown is listed on the depth chart as the second team right tackle.
The Chiefs also switched Bobby Greenwood from defensive end to right tackle. He's been at the position for a week now so giving him any serious playing time might be a bit much right now.
Most teams like to have a swing tackle or someone that can play both the left and right side. It looks like that will be Richardson for the Chiefs.
We'll see if O'Callaghan's injury is short or long term.
