There was a scary moment in Raymond James Stadium on Saturday evening between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Chiefs safety Maurice Leggett was carted off the field after suffering what the Chiefs are calling an injury to his neck.
Leggett was on the ground as trainers tended to him for an extended period of time. Eventually, a cart was brought onto the field.
Both teams came out onto the field as they looked at Leggett. The Chiefs huddled in prayer on the field.
His arms and legs were moving.
At the time of the injury, Chiefs GM Scott Pioli was in the booth talking to the announcers. The crowd cheered for him as he was taken away.
We'll let you know if there are any updates. We wish the best of luck to Maurice Leggett.
