Chiefs Vs. Falcons Preseason: How KC Ran The Football

Last night was a pretty good rushing night for the Kansas City Chiefs against an Atlanta Falcons team that is pretty good defending the run.

Javarris Wiliams rushed for 38 yards; Jamaal Charles went for 37 yards; and Dexter McCluster racked up 25 yards on the ground.

The Chiefs as a team ended up with 130 rushing yards. Not too bad for the first preseason game of the year.

The Chiefs had trouble running the ball up the middle effectively but again the Falcons' defense is pretty good. However, Kansas City averaged nearly six yards when they ran it to the far left side. Expect that trend to continue with Charles and McCluster in the backfield.

After the jump, check how the Chiefs' ran the ball and give us your thoughts in the comments.
