It was four years ago today that the very first post in Arrowhead Pride history went up. At 1:04 p.m., Chris wrote the first words in AP history:
First and foremost, I want to welcome everyone to what will be the number one source for Kansas City Chiefs info and commentary. If you scour the web, you'll find very few sources of original commentary specifically on the Chiefs. Hopefully, this site will change that.
That was on July 26, 2006 and now, on July 26, 2010, I'd like to think we've done a damn good job of upholding his dream for this site.
The last year has seen some significant changes around here. We're creating more original content via first-hand accounts of the happenings at One Arrowhead Drive, covered a road game in Washington D.C., became "influential", Ms. Arrowhead Pride became Mrs. Arrowhead Pride, I got a new job and we set traffic records.
But, most importantly, we blew off a ton of work had a hell of a time doing it all.
So thanks to everyone for all the time you spend here. We hope you've enjoyed and continue to enjoy it in the years moving forward.
Here's to covering the playoffs at Arrowhead in 2011....
