Good morning Kansas City Chiefs fans!
I'm catching up on some football news right now and I decided to put together a post detailing what's been going on lately with the Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders.
Denver Broncos
NFL.com Blogs - What to get for the Tebow fan who has everything?
Fans have already made Tim Tebow’s jersey a best seller this year. So you know it was inevitable that a Tim Tebow shoe was the next product to become available.
Five quarterbacks who should be benched - Mike Florio - Sporting News
So why do the Broncos insist on keeping him at the top of the depth chart? If, somehow, he plays well in 2010, it'll be harder to move on in 2011. The better move would be to get Tebow ready and get him on the field.
John Elway praises ability of Broncos rookie QB Tim Tebow, demeanor of Kyle Orton - USATODAY.com
And while Elway thinks Tebow will transition to the pros just fine, particularly under the tutelage of Denver coach Josh McDaniels, he's also impressed with the way incumbent QB Kyle Orton has handled Tebow-mania.
Bring back the Mile High Salute - BroncoTalk
Last season, seeing the Mile High Salute was scarce, and since Peyton Hillis was released during the off-season, it will probably be rare to see it this upcoming season. Unless of course another Bronco decides to carry on the tradition.
Broncos Sign Elvis Dumervil To 6-Year Extension - Mile High Report
"I am pleased to announce the extension of Elvis Dumervil's contract with the Denver Broncos," General Manager Brian Xanders said. "He has established himself as one of the NFL's premier pass rushers, and he's an important part of the foundation we are building with this team. We are excited to have him as an integral part of the Broncos well into the future."
San Diego Chargers
Coach: This could be Chargers best team - PE.com - Professional Sports
Believe it or not, with Pro Bowl players Vincent Jackson and Marcus McNeil threatening extended holdouts and iconic running back LaDainian Tomlinson missing from the roster for the first time in almost a decade, Chargers coach Norv Turner said he thinks this team "has a chance to be the best team since I've been here."
Drug company defends Chargers doctor amid DEA probe - NFL - SI.com
A pharmacy that provided controlled substances to the San Diego Chargers and other NFL teams said Thursday that a Chargers doctor being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration was not writing prescriptions for himself.
VJ v MM - Bolts From The Blue
So its time to start talking who you would rather have on your team next year. Hopefully both of them will be back but if the chargers only get to sign one of them using the franchise, or sign only one of them long term this season (doesn't seem likely) they have got to prioritize who is better for the team.
The 2010 Chargers Hot Seat - Bolts From The Blue
1. Charger Fans Yes, all you Charger fans are on the hot seat. Those that are familiar with Gaslamp Ball will know that tolerance is getting slim for foulweather fans. When this season gets underway I think the fanbase needs to get pumped.
Oakland Raiders
The NFL's most hated
So I decided to put some feelers out among NFL types and fans to see who they think are the most hated figures in sports. Among the responses I got a few officials but which official always seems to depend upon that person's fan leanings.
Oakland Raiders Make Little Boy's Wish Come True - Silver And Black Pride
ESPN gets a lot of flack for this, that and the other thing, but they do have a great thing going on with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Over the course of some years, little boys and girls with life-threatening medical conditions get an experience they will never forget. Recently, 10-year-old boy Jailen Cooper was able to hang out with the Oakland Raiders.
Oakland Raiders...11-5 in 2010? Why Not? - Silver And Black Pride
For the first time, in a LONG time, I am looking forward to the actual Oakland Raider Season for the games, not just the experience.

The first of the planned additions is an interview with Oakland Raider Rookie Defensive Lineman, LaMarr Houston. I will be interviewing LaMarr tomorrow at 1PM and twice a week he will be doing a Training Camp Video Diary which will be featured on our site.
