Glimpse Into The Chiefs Future: Eric Berry, Kendrick Lewis Run With The First Team

On Monday there was perhaps a glimpse into the Chiefs future at safety.

Bob Gretz of BobGretz.com reports Chiefs rookie safety Kendrick Lewis ran with the first team. Eric Berry has been there since the second set of OTAs.

Todd Haley has frequently said that the way the Chiefs line up in these OTAs doesn't necessarily mean much moving forward.

That said, it's likely that Lewis and Berry in the secondary is what the Chiefs envision for the future.

In other first team news, the inside linebackers didn't see a change from last week which means both Derrick Johnson and Jovan Belcher were with the ones.

Bob Gretz has a solid report on the morning's practice session. Be sure to check it out. We'll be back this afternoon with a little more from the Chiefs 10th OTA.
