As Joel has noted before, the Kansas City Chiefs and every other NFL team have 14 off season activity (OTA) practices during the 2010 NFL offseason.
So far, the Chiefs have held 9 of these OTA practices, with the next 5 coming up in the next week or so. Here's the full schedule of the 14 OTA practices:
- May 17-19;
- May 24-25;
- May 27;
- June 1-3;
- June 7-9; and,
- June 14-15.
Tomorrow, the Chiefs will conduct the first of their final five OTA practices. Tucked in between those final two sets of OTAs is a mandatory mini-camp, from June 11-13. After June 15th, Arrowhead Stadium will pretty much be no-mans land. The NFL will hold a rookie symposium in late June and that's about it until training camp starts in late July.
During this dead time, expect the Chiefs to sign some draft picks, pick up a couple of players and definitely release a few. Other than that, it's going to be slow.
Who all is going to be able to go to training camp in St. Joe this year?
