If you didn't know, Chris (my brother and co-editor of AP) and I are very competitive. We definitely take "bragging rights" very seriously. For example, Chris has never been quoted in the Kansas City Star. I have (and remind him of it). When there was a story done in the Kansas City Business Journal about the new SB Nation Kansas City site, Chris quickly forwarded me a story referencing him in the Austin Business Journal.
If you want to go way back, then Chris will tell you he never lost a game in our daily basketball games during the month of January back in '95. Yes, we take it seriously. (Editor's Note: For the record, the accuracy of this is highly debatable.)
But the ultimate bragging rights has to be a Super Bowl trophy and, even more, Super Bowl MVP, right?
"The ultimate game in professional football is to play and win the Super Bowl. When you do it in magnificent fashion like Drew and the Saints did and what they had to overcome, it's remarkable. It's bragging rights. I've been bragging about this for the rest of my life.''
What's your ultimate bragging rights?
