In what is quickly becoming a new tradition in the Friday night open thread, tell us about a victory you had this week. Could be from anywhere - work, at home...wherever.
For me, this week's victory was purchasing a new pair of jeans. Yes, you read that correctly. I tend to wear the hell out of my jeans so when my last pair started falling apart, it only took me two weeks to find a new pair.
Yep. Pants. That's my victory. And getting out of downtown Austin tonight will be a huge victory because 200,000 bikers have descended upon the city for the Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally. I'm constantly hearing motorcycles outside of my 8th and Congress office.
