The Chiefs will start the first (and only) mandatory minicamp of the summer this morning. You can forget about the word "mandatory" meaning anything around here. The Chiefs have had full participation at nearly every OTA thus far this season so essentially it'll be business as usual.
There will be five practices over three days and Todd Haley will speak to the media following each practice once a day. I'll be there this weekend (but not today, unfortunately).
There are currently a few sprinkles in Kansas City but weather reports indicate things are supposed to clear up for the first practice today.
Courtesy of Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com, we've got the practice schedule for the weekend:
- Friday, June 11: 10:15 AM, 4:15 PM
- Saturday, June 12: 10:30 AM, 3:30 PM
- Sunday, June 13: 10:15 AM
The usual suspects will be there covering practice today and I'll be there this weekend so we should have some good coverage.
