Brodie Croyle Not Participating At Chiefs Practice

The Chiefs last held practice on Thursday and at one point during the session, QB Brodie Croyle walked off with a finger injury. According to reports, he hit it on a helmet throwing the ball, which sounds painful.

That was five days ago. Apparently, the injury is enough to keep Croyle out of practice once again this morning.

The Chiefs are running with three quarterbacks so Croyle's presence at workouts (in shorts...in May) isn't exactly necessary. My guess is that it's more precautionary than anything.

(Edit: Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com Croyle did some individual drills but no team drills.)

But of course with Croyle's injury history it's fair to wonder how long something that is seemingly a little injury will keep him out. If it's more than just a bruise, it could keep him out for a while because we think it happened on his throwing arm. But anything more than that is just speculation.

There were seven other Chiefs that missed practice. We'll have updates shortly.
