A Bobby Sippio Sighting

In the same week the Chiefs sign a player highly regarded in the CFL, we find out what a former Chief from the AFL is up to

Yes, Bobby Sippio, 2007's training camp phenom. (Editor's Note: Phenom?)

You didn't think I'd let a Bobby Sippio sighting go by without mentioning it, did you?

The Orlando Predators are proud to announce today the signing of wide receiver Bobby Sippio. Sippio is widely considered the best Arena Football player in the game today having been named First Team All-Arena in his last season of Arena Football.

OK, so he didn't really re-surface in the NFL but he did bounce around the league for a while over the past couple years. Chiefs fans remember him because he came to Kansas City after catching -- get this -- 53 (!) touchdowns in 2007.

After the Sippio experiment, I think the expectations (in the fans' eyes) won't be as high for Cory Greenwood.
