Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel didn't attend the non-mandatory workouts with the Chiefs last year. The thinking at the time was that he was upset about being traded from New England to Kansas City. Of course, at the time we were just speculating.
By the time he arrived in Kansas City, the coaching staff was already raving about him so his absence didn't appear to be an issue with them.
Once again, Vrabel is not expected at the Chiefs OTAs, which start on Monday.
But that doesn't mean he's not working out.
Vrabel is currently in Columbus, OH -- where I think he lives -- working out at the D1 Sports training facility.
So, even though he's not in Kansas City, he'll show up with a full offseason of workouts under his belt.
