Chiefs LB Corey Mays has signed with Priority Sports, according to Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal.
Mays, 26, came into the league in 2006 as an undrafted free agent.
He's playing on his second round tender in 2010.
Generally a player signing a new agent means a new contract isn't far behind. It's unclear at this point if the Chiefs are interested in signing him long-term or if this means he's looking for a new deal.
At this point, it may be in the Chiefs best interest to let him play out the one-year deal he's got. Some players raise their game when the potential of a new contract is on the horizon.
