The Chiefs wrapped up the second day of rookie minicamp this afternoon.
Our story on the morning session can be seen here. The Chiefs were back outside for the afternoon session with a nice breeze.
This afternoon's activities included various drills including kick and punt returns, individual drills and other team drills.
Returning kicks were Dexter McCluster, Ricky Price and Jackie Bates. McCluster saw the most time.
Huddling together for a while was Chiefs defensive backs coach Emmitt Thomas and new safety Eric Berry. I imagine Berry is excited about being able to spend some time with a Hall of Famer.
Berry and cornerback Javier Arenas didn't participate in the afternoon drills. Neither appeared to be injured so we're not sure what's up there.
I'll have a much more detailed report in the morning. For now, I'm headed off to Ms. Primetime's Dad's retirement party. Chris is at a charity event tonight. Since we're both going to be unavailable tonight, you can pretty much count on some major Chiefs news breaking. That's the way it always goes.
