Redskins Contacting Flozell Adams Could Have Impact On Chiefs Draft

Much of the Kansas City Chiefs draft plans depend on what the Washington Redskins will do with the fourth pick in the draft. With QB Donovan McNabb now in the fold, we've heard there's a "100%" chance" the Redskins will take the best left tackle available, which most say is Russell Okung.

However, some news just came across the wire that could potentially impact that decision.

Redskins GM Bruce Allen revealed on Sirius NFL Radio today the Redskins have contacted Flozell Adams, most recently the left tackle of the Dallas Cowboys.

Now, there's a big difference between contacting an agent and signing a player but this does support the notion that the Redskins aren't tied to a left tackle with the fourth pick.

Maybe the Redskins have their eye on another player and would rather put in a stopgap like Adams in order to select him.

Keep an eye on this situation. I bet you didn't guess a 13-year veteran like Flozell Adams could potentially impact the Chiefs draft.
