The Chiefs offseason workouts have started. Select players took the field today for the first session of the season. Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com has the full report as does Bob Gretz of BobGretz.com.
The players attending were....
Seven draft picks
(Eric Berry, Dexter McCluster, Javier Arenas, Jon Asamoah, Tony Moeaki, Kendrick Lewis and Cameron Sheffield)
Their first shot at the NFL.
11 undrafted free agents
(Garrett Brown, Justin Cole, TC Drake, Tyler Eastman, Rich Gunnell, Jeremy Horne-Murdock, Lemuel Jeanpierre, Michael Johnson, Tervaris Johnson, Nick Landry and Andrew Lewis)
These are usually offseason guys. One or a couple could make the final roster.
First-year players
(Chandler Williams, Jackie Bates, Jermail Porter, Bobby Greenwood, Ricky Price, Kestahn Moore and Reshard Langford)
These are "first-year" players, by NFL standards (practice squad mostly).
Tryout players
(Bill Stull and others)
There were eight tryout players there. Bill Stull is the only Josh Looney identified.
We've received some tips over the last week and have some names of other players that could be participating. Consider this list unconfirmed: DE Jeffrey Fitzgerald, WR/RB/KR Andre Jones, P Zach Johnson, WR David Grimes, LB Boris Lee, K Austin Signor, LB Cory Greenwood and WR Menelik Holt.

Mr. Gretz also said there was a long snapper on the field.
There were only eight tryout players and, including Bill Stull, I've got nine listed so something's off there but these are the players various reports have said are coming to town.
