Former Chief Bobby Wade Joins LJ In Washington

We've heard from most of the Chiefs unrestricted free agents. Wade Smith is in Houston. Mike Brown is drawing interest from the Cardinals.

Now we find out the fate of one more player that officially became a former Chief on March 5th.

WR Bobby Wade agreed to terms with the Redskins.

(They also brought in Joey Galloway so I'd say the level of competition isn't steep.

Wade, like Mike Brown, wasn't expected to return. The Chiefs picked him up early in 2009 but towards the end of the season Todd Haley started deactivating him citing a "numbers game" as the reason.

Wade also had several televised shouting matches with Haley on the sidelines.

Now Wade will join Larry Johnson with the Redskins.
