2010 NFL Draft Grades: Chiefs Second Round Getting Rave Reviews

The early grades are in for the Chiefs 2010 NFL draft and they're good. The second round, specifically, has been hailed by quite a few folks. NFL Network's Mike Mayock, arguably the best analyst in the business, said he "loves" the Chiefs second round picks.

Clark Judge of CBS Sports thinks similarly of the Chiefs second round.

"First was Dexter McCluster, a game-breaking running back/wide receiver/return specialist who is perfect for a team that needs playmakers," he wrote.

This is true. You know who he compared him to? Darren Sproles.

You know who the Chiefs were planning to pursue in free agency? Darren Sproles.

It's all coming together.

"Then Pioli has the 50th overall choice and finds Javier Arenas, the best blitzing defensive back in the draft and a marvelous return specialist. All Arenas did was come within 11 yards of setting a national career punt return record, and if the Chiefs' defense can stop anyone, that will come in handy."
