Chiefs Give Up A Fourth and Fifth Round Pick To Draft Iowa TE Tony Moeaki

Another interesting pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. With the 93rd pick, after trading up with the Minnesota Vikings Houston Texans, the Kansas City Chiefs select Iowa TE Tony Moeaki.

And guess what? He's on our Chiefs' draft interests list.

Here's more on Moeaki from Mocking the Draft:

Moeaki might not be the most athletic, but he was a dependable target in the Iowa offense. He has really good hands and can block fairly well. He's not going to be a flashy pick, but a good one.

Chris Wolf, Iowa fan and AP reader, also was kind enough to let us know a few days ago that Moeaki visited the Chiefs before the draft. Chris gave us his two cents on the Iowa tight end:

He would make an excellent late round choice because he has the talent to be a starter in the NFL the only concern with him is a rather long list of injuries. When he was healthy he was a tremendous preformer including being one of if not the best blocking TE in the draft (watch the Orange Bowl tape, he single-handedly manhandled Derrick Morgan multiple times).

Word is that the Chiefs gave up a fourth and fifth round pick. More on this later. What's your reaction?
