With The 28th Pick In The 2010 Arrowhead Pride Mock Draft, The San Diego Chargers Select...

tomahawk44 with the pick...

The Chargers have been that team that has all the talent but has never been able to close the distance on a Super Bowl.

This year the Chargers have lost talent and will have to replace it in the draft. This year could be the Chargers last chance before they go into rebuilding mode. The Chargers finished the 2009 season 31st in rushing yards with 88.9 yards per game and 20th against the run on defense with 117.8 yards per game. This being said rushing on both sides of the ball will need to be addressed in the 2010 draft.

The Chargers would of taken Ryan Matthews if he was still available but since he is gone they are going to have to take the best DT on the board after losing Jamaal Williams to the Denver Broncos. With that I introduce you to the new Williams of San Diego...

Mr. Dan Williams out of Tennessee

Dan Williams is the definition of a work horse. Williams was once considered a mid round pick but now has elevated himself to a sure fire first rounder and is coveted by almost every 3-4 defense. Williams is 6'3 and has gotten himself down to an impressive 327 pounds and clocked in a 40 time of 5.10. Williams will be a run stuffer up the middle but not a big QB chaser.

Look for the Chargers run defense to get a little better since they have found the middle of the defense for years to come....
