For those of you who are interested in the Chiefs taking an offensive tackle, please take note:
Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports has come out with an interesting rundown of two of the top offensive tackles in the draft -- Russell Okung out of Oklahoma State and Trent Williams out of Oklahoma.
Per multiple personnel folks around the league, Robinson says Williams actually has a higher ceiling than Okung and might be the top tackle in the draft. Apparently, "people are concerned" about taking Okung in the top ten but Williams is gaining steam.
"If you're just looking at skill, and take away all the other stuff, he's far beyond Okung. [Williams] has much more skill and athleticism. He's definitely a left tackle and he could also play right."
Rick Maese of the Washington Post calls Williams the Redskins "likely pick" at No. 4.
This likely won't shift much in the draft. The offensive tackle the Chiefs have been connected to most often is Bryan Bulaga. If the Chiefs are looking at defense, then whether the Redskins take Okung or Williams, it shouldn't affect much.
