A lot of the talk regarding the Chiefs and offensive tackle has centered around the fifth overall pick. Will it be Bryan Bulaga? Trent Williams? Does Russell Okung fall?
However, according to Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post, the Chiefs are becoming intrigued by the offensive tackle talent available in the second round.
Lombardi reports the Chiefs feel they can get value in the second round of the draft and, according to his sources, are looking to move down as many as eight spots in the draft picking up an extra second round pick in the process.
Of course a tackle in the second round would mean no tackle in the first round.
I checked out our draft interests chart and found a couple of the second round offensive tackles the Chiefs have been keeping an eye on.
