NFL Schedule Release Coming Tuesday, April 20th

And we finally have a hard date on when the NFL will release the schedule.

From the NFL:

2010 NFL regular-season schedule will be announced on Tuesday, April 20, at 7 pm ET on NFL.com and NFL Network to kick off Draft Week.

The hold-up, as we've explained before, is likely due to Commissioner Goodell's decision to play most if not all divisional games in week 17. This is supposed to help keep things competitive late in the season.

You gotta hand it to the NFL. They are a marketing machine. Somehow, they've got me sitting here with incredible anticipation over the Chiefs schedule.

We already know the opponents mind you.

  • Home: Denver, Oakland, San Diego, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Buffalo, Arizona, San Francisco
  • Away: Denver, Oakland, San Diego, Houston, Indianapolis, Cleveland, St. Louis, Seattle

We're just waiting for the dates and times.

Since we're on the topic, here's a link to the Chiefs strength of schedule -- 22nd.
