And the fun in the AFC West continues.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with NT Jamal Williams. The contract runs three years.
This is a big move for the Broncos and a slight shift of power in the AFC West. Williams, 34, has anchored the San Diego Chargers defensive line since 1998 when he was drafted by the team.
He's certainly up there in age but up until last season he'd been able to stay on the field consistently.
The Broncos, like the Chiefs, switched the 3-4 defense last season and used Ronald Fields at nose tackle.
Even if Williams is in on limited snaps, this could be a very good move for the Broncos. The Chiefs could've used the nose tackle help but I suspect they might be addressing that position soon.
And with that, one more nose tackle is off the market.
