Chiefs RT O'Callaghan Gets A Second Round Tender

The tenders on the Kansas City Chiefs restricted free agents are starting to trickle in.

According to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star, right tackle Ryan O'Callaghan received the second round tender.

Starting right offensive tackle Ryan O'Callaghan was offered a one-year contract worth $1.759 million. O'Callaghan will also be eligible to negotiate with other clubs starting tonight. If he signs an offer, the Chiefs can either match or receive that team's second-round draft pick.

The Chiefs could have tendered him at an original pick level -- 5th round -- but they didn't which suggests to me that they have an interest in keeping him.

I suspect he'll be safe at that level.
