Nothing like waiting to the last second.
The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed LB Mike Vrabel, according to Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com.
This was one of the hot topics of conversation throughout the offseason as Vrabel was set to be an unrestricted free agent.
Vrabel, 34, came to the Chiefs last season in the trade for Matt Cassel.
He previously expressed a desire to remain in Kansas City and said last week that his "first choice" would be the Chiefs.
Well, that solves the immediate need at outside linebacker.
Free agency starts at 11:00 PM (CST) this evening.
