Chiefs Latest Draft Interests Update Remains Heavy on Safeties

We're back with another update to our Kansas City Chiefs draft interests table.

In the last week, we've added a quarterback, tight end and a couple of kickers (as reported this morning) to the list of college players the Chiefs are checking out. I count 64 players we've tracked so far.

Here's my count by position of who the Chiefs are checking out:

• 11 safeties;
• 8 offensive linemen;
• 7 cornerbacks;
• 7 wide receivers;
• 6 defensive linemen;
• 6 quarterbacks;
• 6 linebackers;
• 3 fullbacks;
• 3 tight ends;
• 3 running backs;
• 2 punters; and,
  
• 2 kickers.
