Trading Asomugha for McNabb is a bad idea - AFC West Blog - ESPN
There’s no reason for Oakland to complicate this deal. If it wants McNabb, offer a second- or third-round pick. Keep Asomugha out of it. There’s no need to involve Asomugha. If Oakland wants to trade Asomugha, I’m sure there is a team (or 20) that would jump on him. Cleveland is said to be looking for a cornerback. There is no cornerback who is in Asomugha’s area code of talent available in the draft. Have the Browns start with the No. 7 pick and add to it.

The idea is this: the NFL is celebrating the 75th NFL Draft by asking fans to vote for the 75 best draft choices in league history. We aren’t asking for 75 in the 50 years the Chiefs have been around. Just the top 10 choices made by the Hunt Family franchise starting in 1960 and rolling through 2009.
NFL - Bill Barnwell: Pre-draft concerns in the AFC West - ESPN ($$$ Insider)
The key to success for any 3-4 defense is an excellent nose tackle. The Chargers' run defense fell apart last season without Jamal Williams; elsewhere in California, the 49ers were emerging with the league's fourth-best run defense, thanks to a breakout season from their nose tackle, Aubrayo Franklin. In Kansas City, there is no such hope for a breakout year. The current nose tackle is veteran Ron Edwards; at 315 pounds, Edwards is undersized for the position (marking the first time anyone weighing 315 pounds has been undersized for anything), preventing him from effectively occupying offensive linemen, let alone penetrating into the backfield to make plays.
Other than McNabb, available QB list is thin - AFC West Blog - ESPN
If Oakland doesn’t get McNabb, it will still likely want another quarterback to at least compete with Bruce Gradkowski and JaMarcus Russell. However, there aren’t many other options. Here are some quarterbacks who could be available for Oakland if McNabb doesn’t become a Raider:
