The Kansas City Chiefs scouts are continuing to stay busy with the all the pro days across the country. We've got wind of two more pro days in which the Chiefs were represented -- the University of Connecticut and the University of North Carolina.
The big name to note here is UNC defensive tackle Cam Thomas.
Thomas is often considered a candidate to be a nose tackle in the 3-4 defense. He's 6'4" and 330 pounds so at first glance size doesn't appear to be an issue.
He was previously thought to be more of a mid-round type of prospect but a solid offseason has boosted his stock.
I've seen some reports indicating he could be a second round pick.
The Chiefs have two selections in the second round so it's possible they're doing some due diligence on him if he happens to slip to their second pick in that round.
