Chiefs Draft Interest RB Joique Bell Attends CMU Pro Day, Too

Wayne State didn't have a pro day so RB Joique Bell attended the Central Michigan pro day and worked out. This is common for guys at smaller schools to go to pro days at other schools.

Bell is noteworthy because he'll be holding a private workout with the Chiefs on April 1st.

He put in some pedestrian 40 times in the 4.7 and 4.8 range.

"Jerry Rice and Walter Payton ran slow 40 times too," Bell said according to the Detroit News. "Did you ever see Jerry Rice get caught from behind? Football speed is a completely different thing. It's like you have that extra gear to run away from guys.

"I just hope people look at my entire body of work and my tape. I was in the top 3 percent in nearly all the other drills at the combine."

Also noteworthy from the pro day is that QB Dan LeFevour actually had dinner with Charlie Weis last night.
