Last year at this time the big topic of conversation (besides Matt Cassel) was the future of Glenn Dorsey.
You all remember the story. Dorsey was the next "can't miss" 4-3 defensive lineman and suddenly turned into the next "can't fit" lineman in the Chiefs new 3-4 defense.
Haley recognized the questions surrounding Dorsey last year but did nothing to suggest he isn't part of their future plans.
"A lot of those guys had to make a very difficult transition," Haley said. "But I feel positive about a lot of those guys and the development they made.
"Glenn Dorsey is No. 1. There was a lot of speculation about whether he fit, are we trading him? We were clearly a better team when Glenn Dorsey played. He learned a lot of things last year and he's much further along and now understands what our expectation level is with him and we understand him."
I think he's right.
The one game Dorsey missed last year?
Browns unknown RB Jerome Harrison nearly eclipsed the single-game rushing yards record.
