Back in January at the Senior Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs reportedly expressed some interest in Wake Forest CB Brandon Ghee.
Ghee, 6'0", 192 pounds, has had an excellent offseason including both the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine.
"Ghee really opened some eyes at the Senior Bowl, and he continued to impress at the combine on Tuesday," PewterReport.com reports. "Ghee ran the second-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.45) of any of the defensive backs and led all cornerbacks in that category. He also had a 10'7" broad jump and 15 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press."
Ghee has likely solidified himself as a 2nd-3rd round prospect.
However, it's concerning that he had just one interception at Wake Forest. Like Taylor Mays, where are the stats?
PewterReport.com makes an interesting observation, "His offseason has arguably been more impressive than his collegiate career."
Like they did last year, I suspect the Chiefs will target a defensive back at some point in the draft.
