I passed along word this morning that the Kansas City Chiefs would be represented at the Missouri State pro day this afternoon. What I did not pass along was that it was the Director of College Scouting Phil Emery that showed up and not just a scout.
Chris Steuber of Scout.com reports that Emery showed "considerable interest" in Clay Harbor.
Harbor is listed as a fullback on NFL Draft Scout but is more of a big tight end or h-back from what I can gather.
He's got some impressive Combine numbers showing up as a top performer in the forty yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump and twenty yard shuttle.
Also showing "considerable interest" in Harbor was Cleveland Browns tight ends coach Steve Hagan.
The full list of teams represented at the pro day, according to Steuber, are the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers.
Harbor must be on the Chiefs radar if the scouting director made his way down there. That and it's a lot closer than all the other pro days.
